For “Write 28 Days” this February I’m planning to write a poem (more of a poem first draft. something written in less than a half-hour) each day that’s either based on a dream or that accesses or derives from my waking dreamy state. There may be inspiring images involved, there may not. I don’t think I can say much more about it, because I don’t know much more about it. We’ll see what emerges!
I’ll add links to each post as it’s written and posted.

Dream is not a revelation. If a dream affords the dreamer some light on himself, it is not the person with closed eyes who makes the discovery but the person with open eyes, lucid enough to fit thoughts together. Dream — a scintillating mirage surrounded by shadows — is essentially poetry. — Michel Leiris
