Check out the little cup hats to ward off frost on some cacti as well as the paper spine cactus (Tephrocactus articulatus var papyracanthus) and the totem pole cactus (Pachycereus schottii f. monstrosus). And lots of saguaros in the landscape; they can take ten years to get an inch tall.
