Not the Breath Thoughts like clouds across the sky glimpse white-breasted nuthatch camera out, snap, snap, on the other feeder, goldfinch? sparrow? oh, it’s gone flitting chickadee not the breath Thoughts like clouds across the sky cat on desk, pick him up, plop him down another cup of tea, kitchen, tea pot, water, resettle oh yeah this is peaceful, conducive, red-breasted nuthatch now, snap, snap always tempted to call it red-throated, why? not the breath Thoughts like clouds across ping! text, quick check, quick response, cat again, water boiled, pour tea, ah resettle close eyes, open eyes slightly, note the breath, quick oximeter check, pulse and oxygen fine, dream snippet arises, chase it, chase it, not the breath Thoughts like clouds ice or rain tomorrow? remember: make bisque, walk, when? remember: schedule meeting, send out email, so many photos to edit, too many perhaps? oh! female cardinal in the crabapple, titmouse too, snap snap snap, foggy window, ugh, not the breath Thoughts like clouds breathing breathing breathing Chime. And now, open your eyes and relax.
