collection: Edible Flowers Alphabet (Charlotte Day & Jack Hughes, UK). A little about each flower, with soil + sun conditions and harvest time, from Asparagus Pea to Zucchini. Pretty.
images: modern impressionist (Athena Tsavliris/La Parachute). “Kate Mary’s paintings are ones that you want to step into. A swimming pool, a greenhouse, a cobalt blue balcony overlooking trees and dappled sun. … [F]resh and inviting.” There’s a link to Kate Mary’s shop for more of her paintings.
map: interactive bird migration map detailing the journeys of 450+ species throughout the year (Audubon)
blog post: woolly bear caterpillar (Hiker’s Notebook), the larvae of the Isabella tiger moth. These caterpillars trundle “at the larval sprint pace of four feet per minute.” They’re exceptional in many ways.
video: views from fast-moving trains in Portugal (Vimeo/McGloughlin Brothers). Colourful. I think the music (ATK by Bonobo) really enhances the feel.
