Ginkgos make a nice Yellow Brick Road!
Love ginkgos! Doesn’t grow here, though I have seen one growing near the coast of NH, and of course they have a bunch at Longwood Gardens in PA. Such a beautiful leaf and habit.
Why does it not grow there? It is not very demanding. I would think that the only places it would not grow would be the dry desert or very hot regions.
I don’t know. It’s supposedly hardiness zone 4-9, and we are zone 4 (edging into 5), but it’s not widely sold here and you never see it planted near where I live.
