MARCH 2021 IN PICTURES

In a continuing series of looks back at the year that was. No field trips out of northern New England, lots of walks close by, plus zooming, the cat, some food, and finally, eating and having a cocktail at a restaurant outside again on a few warm-enough days in late winter.

ODIORNE BEACH, RYE NH

We took a day trip to Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH during March, a much-needed ocean visit, followed by take-out at Petey’s Summertime Seafood.

HOME

‘Tis the season of jigsaw puzzles, reading, and waiting for the sunroom temperature to hit 70F, a sure sign of spring on the way, even with snow on the ground.

GARDEN

Mostly birds, also squirrels, fox, hazelnut buds, and garlic shoots.

ZOOM

More contactless socialising with friends (and strangers) near and far.

Remembering the Ever Given container ship, which blocked the Suez Canal for six long days (with all due respect to William Carlos Williams).
